Youth Euphonium & Tuba Ensemble
Description and Schedule
The Youth Euphonium and Tuba Ensemble (YETE) was started in 2011 and is composed of junior high and high school euphonium and tuba players from the greater Southeast Michigan area. The program runs yearly from September-May and rehearses on Sundays from 12:00 - 2:00 PM in the Stearns Building, room 201, located on the University of Michigan North Campus. Each semester culminates with performances.
The educational goals of this initiative are to strengthen students' overall musicianship, to introduce students to new repertoire, and to participate in collaborative music making with a diverse group of students from across Michigan.

Eligibility
- Open to euphonium and tuba students in grades 7-12
- Students should be enrolled in their school instrumental music program (if available)
- Students should bring their own instrument and mouthpiece to all rehearsals and performances
Tuition
There is a non-refundable annual tuition of $150 per student. Payments may be made by check or money order payable to the University of Michigan.
