SMTD has partnered with the Gershwin family to bring the music of George and Ira Gershwin to students, scholars, performers and audiences across campus and worldwide.

An SSA choir designed for young women to develop vocal technique, music reading skills, and artistry through the study and performance of the highest quality music. This ensemble meets every other Sunday, for a total of 5 rehearsals a semester.
Interested students must complete the MYE online application. Applications are released in January of each year. The $45 non-refundable application fee can be paid online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover) or mailed as check/money order payable to University of Michigan.
Audition times will be assigned by e-mail in early April.
All interested students, regardless of previous participation, must audition for MYWC. Please visit the auditions page for audition dates and requirements.
All students who audition in April will receive their admission notification by June 1st. Students who audition in September will be notified in the week after the audition.
