Description

The Michigan Youth Symphony Orchestra features over 100 talented, young musicians. Students experience intellectual, emotional, and aesthetic growth while performing some of the most challenging orchestral literature. Concert will be presented at the end of the Fall and Winter semesters. All ensembles are open to students in grades 9 - 12 during the 2013-2014 school year. String players in grades 7 and 8 may also apply.

2013-14 Schedule

Rehearsals are held on Sundays, 1:15 to 3:45 PM in the School of Music, Theatre & Dance E. V. Moore Building - Rehearsal Hall.

Dress Rehearsal: November 17, during rehearsal hours*

Concert: November 18, 7:00 PM*

Winter Term, 2014 Dates:

Concert: March 24, 7:00 PM*

*All dress rehearsals and concerts will be held in Hill Auditorium: 825 N. University Ave; Ann Arbor, Michigan. Performances are free and open to the public, with no tickets required; we welcome and encourage family and friends to attend.
