The U-M Music Technology Camp, now in its 8th year, provides a unique experience for middle and high school students interested in the most modern tools to extend their musical creativity.

MusicTech campers are guided through a step-by-step introduction to the most modern music workstations. Students are trained in electronic music composition through practical hands-on exercises. Our faculty team is comprised of music educators with public school or university teaching experience. The faculty are not only experts in music technology, but are dedicated to working with children to extend their creativity through electronic music.

The faculty/student ratios are low to provide individualized instruction to the campers. Campers, ranging from grade 6 through 12, are students interested in creating their own music using synthesizers and computers. Most campers have some formal training in music, such as piano, band, or orchestra.
