Dalcroze for Music Educators
DATE: June 25 - 29, 2012
TIME: Monday - Thursday: 2:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Friday: 10:30 - 4:00 p.m.
INSTRUCTOR: Julie Skadsem, University of Michigan
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This workshop will explore the Dalcroze approach to teaching music, including ideas on how to use eurhythmics, solfege, and improvisation in a variety of instructional contexts. Come prepared to move and experience Dalcroze firsthand, learn about the approach and leave with lesson ideas to use with your students.
WORKSHOP APPLICATION:
Fees: Non-refundable Application Fee - $30 (not included in the workshop fee)
Workshop Fee - $500
