Undergraduate Orientation

Welcome to all new students beginning in Fall 2016! Classes begin Tuesday, September 6.

Freshman Orientation

Orientation for undergraduate students is coordinated through the Office of New Student Programs (ONSP). Once your enrollment deposit is credited to your account, you will receive information from ONSP which will include details about how to register for your orientation session on-line. You must register and receive confirmation from ONSP in order to participate in orientation.

During the three-day program, students complete necessary procedures for class registration, including placement exams and academic advising. The first day of orientation is spent on Central Campus. Students then meet with the SMTD Admissions and Students Services staff, advisors, and current SMTD students on the afternoon of Day two and the morning of Day three.

You must attend an orientation session in order to register for classes.
