Social Security Number and UM ID number

Disclosure of the applicant’s U.S. Social Security Number is mandatory. It is used for identification purposes in University records in accordance with an administrative regulation issued on November 15, 1966.

When corresponding with our offices, please include your eight digit UM ID Number. If you received an information packet by mail, this number can be found on the cover letter.
