Annette Masson is a singer, actress, director, and musical director who has worked in professional and academic productions across the U.S., Canada, England, and Australia. Professor Masson has taught voice and singing at the American Repertory Theatre, Boston University School of Theater Arts, the Drama Studio London, and has taught master classes at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth and also in Calgary and in Vancouver. She was associate director at the Drama Studio London USA. She has worked with the Second City Comedy Company in Detroit and the Indiana Repertory Theatre, and has also coached in the fields of business and broadcasting. She was invited to participate in the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain Professional Voice Teachers' Workshop in London and the Roy Hart International Theatre Centre in France.
Ms. Masson's approach to teaching voice is grounded in the Linklater system of voice production, with elements of the Rodenburg, Lessac, Berry, and Roy Hart techniques. Her additional training includes the Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, Yoga, and Tai Chi.
