Matt Burrows joined the Michigan staff in 1998 as development director for the Marching and Athletic Bands program.  His duties now also include management of the corporate sponsorship program for the School of Music, Theatre & Dance.

Prior to his appointment on staff, Matt was a member of the Michigan Marching Band and Hockey Band, serving in leadership capacities in both ensembles.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Michigan.
