As Assistant Director for Admissions, Trisha Fountain predominately works in the areas of recruitment and admissions. Her primary goal is to make the application and admission process an enjoyable experience for every prospective student. Additionally, she manages publication and Web content and SMTD orientation for new students.
Originally from Southern Indiana, Trisha earned a BM in Vocal Performance from DePauw University, and went on to work simultaneously in university admissions and as a regional performer in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Prior to joining the staff at the School of Music, Theatre & Dance, Trisha maintained a voice studio at the Soo Theatre Arts Resource Studios and collaborated with guest artists and educators from throughout North America as an Artist in Residence with Soo Opera Theatre.
