Facilities and Equipment Inventory
The Unversity of Michigan Percussion Program and its students have access to a world-class inventory of professional percussion equipment.
We are fortunate to have an incredible diversity of impeccably maintained professional instruments including a wide array of quality large instruments, a sizeable snare drum
collection, a wide variety of cymbals and gongs, as well as a large collection of specialty and world percussion instruments. Our percussion storage and practice facilities are housed within the Earl V. Moore building on the University of Michigan's North Campus. We have twelve dedicated percussion practice rooms, as well as additional instrument storage. In addition to the percussion facilities, the E.V. Moore building houses a rehearsal hall, three recital halls, classrooms, music library, and faculty studios. Percussion Cage
This room connects to our rehearsal hall. Because both personal instruments and school instruments are stored here,
setup in the rehearsal hall is extraordinarily convenient. It also serves as a social center for the percussion studio.
