Recital Approval Juries
Before presenting a degree recital (other than in DMA), the student has to pass a recital approval jury. This jury takes place between 10 and 14 days prior to the scheduled recital date. During 30 minutes, the student will have to play excerpts from the entire recital program as chosen by three present String faculty members, including the student's teacher. It is up to the student to contact prof. Yizhk Schotten well ahead of this time frame and request that a recital approval be scheduled. At the end of the jury, a Recital Approval Jury form must be signed by all three faculty members and submitted to the Chair by the student's teacher.
