One course in the interpretation of songs
Three hours of course work in the techniques of vocal coaching
Six hours of musicology, music theory, and/or composition beyond the undergraduate requirements
Electives to complete a total of thirty-five hours
Presentation of three recitals of vocal and instrumental repertoire
Departmental examination including intermediate proficiency in reading, and advanced proficiency in pronunciation, of French, German, and Italian
