Organ, Harpsichord, Carillon, and Church Music Study for Non-Majors

Individual instruction in organ, harpsichord and carillon is available for students enrolled in the University of Michigan with piano proficiency at the level of Bach Two-Part Inventions or the equivalent. Students may apply to enroll for 2 credit hours (a 30-minute lesson weekly) or 4 credit hours (a 60-minute lesson weekly). Students also attend a weekly studio class. To request lessons, fill out the online Studio Application.

Non-majors are also welcome in Organ Literature and Church Music classes, as well as the Early Music Ensemble. Current offerings are listed in the Schedule of Classes.
