These 30-minute programs are informal events to which you are invited to bring your lunch (pack your own or stop by the Glass House CafĂ© at SPH). 

Schedule for Fall Term, 2009:

  • Sept. 16:  John Woolsey, student in the School of Music, Theater and Dance, and organist, First United Methodist Church, Dixboro, will be joined by Jonathan Hulting-Cohen (alto saxophone) in works by Mischa Zupko, Georg Boehm, Guy de Lioncourt and Pamela Decker.
  • Sept. 30: Ginger Thorne-Hermann, MM in voice; and music teacher, Discovery Middle School, Canton, MI
  • Oct. 14:  Aaron Tan, PhD student; organist, First Presbyterian Church, Ypsilanti; and artistic director, Ypsilanti Pipe Organ Festival.
  • Oct. 28: Daniel Forger, organist; and Assoc. Prof. of Mathematics
  • Nov. 11:  Edward Maki-Schramm, U-M DMA in organ; organist and director of music, Central United Methodist Church, Detroit; and Ass’t Director for Fund Development and External Relations, School of Nursing.
  • Dec. 2:  Thom Spafford, tenor (and recent staff member in Biostatistics) and James Kibbie, organ.
