Danced with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane and created Alexandra Beller/Dances. Faculty member at Dance New Amsterdam and The Atlantic Theater School in NYC.
LIZ BERGMANN (MA and Former Chair)
Dance Director at Harvard University. Co-authored book Connecting with Creativity: Ten Keys to Unlocking Your Creative Process.
JULIE BLUME (BFA, 2004)
Dancing with Parsons Dance Company.
ANITA CHENG (MFA, 1991)
Founder and choreographer of Anita Cheng Dance.
WILLIAM CROWLEY (MFA, 1996)
Teaching dance at Barry University. Artistic Director of Next Step Dance, a company located in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida.

Danced with the Martha Graham Dance Company.
LINDSAY & JASON DIETZ MARCHANT (BFA, 1996)
Jason is working as a freelance performer with Neta Pulvermacher, Dean Moss, Daniel Gwirtzman and Alan Good. Lindsay performs with Carolyn Dorfman, Artichoke Dance Company, and Monida Bill Barnes. They toured their duet work in Australia and have been commissioned by the Danspace Project. Link.

AMY DRUM (BFA, 1992), AIMEE McDONALD (BFA, 1996), and LYNN NEUMAN (BFA, 1991)
Founders and members of Artichoke Dance Company in NYC.
DANIEL GWIRTZMAN (BFA, 1992)
Danced with Mark Morris and Garth Fagan. Created the Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company in NYC.
KELLY HIRINA (BFA, 2000)
Working with Opera Ballet companies throughout Europe.
AYAKO KATO (MFA, 1998)
Performed throughout Japan, USA and Europe with Art Union Humanscape.
LIZZIE LEOPOLD (BFA, 2006)
Founder of Chicago-based modern dance company, the Leopold Group, where she works with other University of Michigan alumni: Melissa Bloch (BDA, 2006), Alexandra Burley (BDA, 2007), Shannyn Hart (BDA, 2007) and Jordan Newmark (BFA, 2006).
MICHAEL PHILLIPS (BFA, 1999)
Danced with Merce Cunningham Apprentice Company and Peter Sparling Dance Company. Currently performing with Pascal Rioult Dance Theatre.
DANA REITZ (BA, 1969)
Danced with Twyla Tharp Dancers, Laura Dean and Dance Company. Collaborated with Jennifer Tipton on a solo for Baryshnikov which was premiered at Jacob's Pillow. Performed in the original production of Einstein on the Beach.
MATTHEW ROSE (BFA, 1995)
Danced with Pascal Rioult Dance Theater, the Martha Graham Dance Company and Mark Morris Dance Company. Currently working as Mark Morris' Assistant.
MOLLY SCHNEIDER PEREZ (MFA, 2005)
Working with the Several Dancers Core, the umbrella organization for CORE Performance Company.
LEYYA TAWIL (BDA, 1997)
Created Dance Elixir in San Francisco and currently Guest Faculty at Middlebury College in Vermont.
JULIE TICE (BDA, 1997)
Is currently a principal dancer in the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Recipient of the 2007School of Music, Theatre & Dance Emerging Artist Award in Dance.
