EQUIPMENT AND ROOM RESERVATIONS  

Classrooms and Halls

To reserve a classroom or hall, contact Kim Dolanski by email. Be sure to include the following information in your email: your phone#, the room requested, the -Day of week, date, time, and an alternate location in case your preferred location is not available. Also, please include any additional information that may be helpful, such as intended use (performance, lecture, rehearsal, etc.), and any special considerations of which the Scheduling Office should be made aware.

If you cannot send email, you may pick up a form outside the Scheduling Office at 2309 Moore, and return it when completed to the Scheduling mailbox outside the Info Office at 2249 Moore.

Labs

Faculty and Staff requests for reserved use of the Listening Lab, Technology Lab, and MultiMedia Lab must be submitted to Greg Laman by email, with a cc to Robert Newcomb. The request must contain the date(s) and time(s) the lab is needed, what the purpose is, who the Instructor (if any) is, and what special equipment or technical support is required.

Equipment

Web-Based Equipment Scheduling System

The web-based scheduling system for equipment checkout at the School of Music, Theatre & Dance has been upgraded for the fall 2002 semester. You may access the new system by clicking here.

Please note...

  • You will need to use Internet Explorer when accessing the Scheduling System (not all features work with Netscape)
  • You do not need to Login, just click the "Add Event" button to request a reservation

Reservations for video carts, overhead projectors, portable video and audio recording equipment, and the multimedia cart may be made directly on the website. Requests for checkout of laptop computers or music technology equipment should be made via email to Greg Laman (glaman@umich.edu).

If you plan to use a video cart or any other equipment on a regular basis during the Fall semester, please make your reservation as soon as possible. You may make one-time reservations at any time throughout the semester. Please keep in mind that all reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. If you have any questions about specific equipment or our checkout policies, please don't hesitate to email or call me.

    monitor, a video projecter, presentation software, powered
