Symphony Band’s CD Earns Rave Review

The September/October issue of the American Record Guide reviews the University Symphony Band’s most recent CD, Classic Structures. The review ends “Kudos to Michael Haithcock and the University of Michigan Symphony Band for a wonderful recording. It is a pleasure to hear a band with no discernible weaknesses, one that sounds great in both the big and quiet moments. Its blended, dusky tone quality at soft-to-medium levels is something to savor.”
