“Stellar, cool, and precise,” says dance review

"Dancing Americas," just finishing a four-day run at the Power Center, received a strong review from annarbor.com.

Kudos as well went to lighting designer Mary Cole and costume designer Christianne Myers, and to the music, including a John Cage work, performed live by Steve Rush and his Digital Music Ensemble, replete with vacuum cleaner, and jazz musicians from the School of Music, Theatre & Dance, on stage to accompany The Summit, the featured new work by guest choreographer Dianne McIntyre.
