ONCE.MORE
October 2010
As Performing Arts Technology celebrates 25 years, we also mark the 50th anniversary of the famous—perhaps infamous—ONCE Festivals, held in Ann Arbor in the early 1960s. Four of the founding composers—Robert Ashley, Gordon Mumma, Roger Reynolds, and Donald Scavarda—will be in town to perform music from THEN and music from NOW. A week of peripheral events is planned around the celebration. Highlights: ONCE.THEN concert on Tuesday, November 2, and the ONCE-NOW concert on Thursday, November 4, both at Rackham. Visit ums.org/once for ticket information and all the details.
