The UM Euphonium/Tuba Ensemble, directed by Professor Fritz Kaenzig, performs its annual Octubafest concert. Wonderfully varied programs of solo repertoire will be played by euphonium and tuba students at the U-M on Thursday and Friday at 8:00 p.m., including The Carnival of Venice and Herbert L. Clarke's Maid of the Mist. On Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., the acclaimed U-M Euphonium/Tuba Ensemble will perform a program that runs the gamut from Glitter and be Gay from Candide, with guest soprano Kimberley Dolanski Osburn and conductor/arranger Brian Buckner, to an arrangement of Enter Sandman by Metallica!
