New Music on the Block Competition Winners Announced
October 2006
Block M Records is proud to present the winners of its inaugural New Music on the Block Competition at 8 p.m., October 20 & 21, in the Duderstadt Center on North Campus. The performances are free and open to the public.
Out of fifty-six individual submissions to the annual competition, a panel three judges selected eight groups representing a variety of musical genres, each of whom will have an opportunity to perform and record their works for release on the Block M Record label. The recordings will be available for permanent download through the iTunes Music Store.
