Faculty Choreography Ensemble Celebrates 25 Years
May 2010
Ann Arbor Dance Works, formed as a collective of faculty choreographers in 1985, celebrates its 25th anniversary this summer, on the heels of last summer’s gala Dancing at 100 commemorating 100 years of dance at Michigan. AADW will present three days of concerts, June 10, 11, and 12, at 8:00 p.m. in the Duderstadt Center Video Studio on North Campus. Short chamber works by guest alumnae Emily Berry (BDA ’00) and Carolyn Dorfman (BFA ’77) will complement new works by seven resident chreographers: Melissa Beck, Amy Chavasse, Bill DeYoung, Peter Sparling, Sandra Torijano, Robin Wilson, and Jessica Fogel.
