Carlos X. Rodriguez to Chair Music Education

This September, Carlos X. Rodriguez will join the faculty at the School of Music, Theatre & Dance as Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Music Education. Professor Rodriguez has been coordinator of music education at the University of South Florida, where he also taught elementary and secondary general music methods and graduate courses in music psychology and cognition. Active as a clinician, he has taught workshops in composition, recording, technology, popular music, and songwriting, recently lecturing on the latter at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum
