SMTD alumni have been nominated for Tony Awards, announced today in anticipation of the June 13 televised program.

Andrew Lippa, BM ‘87, Best Original Score for Addams Family
David Alan Grier, BA ’78, Best Performance in a Play for Race
Martin Pakledinaz, MFA ’75, Best Costume Design, Lend me a Tenor
Wendy Goldberg, BA '95, Regional Theatre Tony Award, Eugene O'Neill Theater Center
Marcia Milgrom Dodge, BA '77, Best Director for a Musical for Ragtime

Also, the Araca Group, Matthew Rego, BFA ’92, principal and founder, is nominated as producer in the category Best Revival of a Play for both Lend me a Tenor and A View from the Bridge, by another Michigan alum, Arthur Miller (BM ’38).
