Since our 1961 Tour, I have been touring the world playing in all of the major concert halls my whole professional musical life either as a soloist with orchestras / as a teacher / lecturer or as a member of the Philip Glass Ensemble or Paul Whiteman Orchestra. I have also had a penchant for being involved in the business / management side of things both in music and other businesses. As a saxophonist, I have always had a desire to play both classical and jazz.

I made a conscious effort to always be involved in some sort of business venture which could serve as a backup from the fear and in the event I lost my ability to play music. It also served to support me between grants / teaching and gigs.
